i think if god is real he needs to show himself to humans in person, i dont think he exists?

God should show himself to us humans in the present time, enough of the hide and go seek stuff. I think this in itself is stupid; thats my opinion anway. What are your thoughts

Well, consider this scenario. You chose to leave your home. You descended level by level by level until you reached the physical plane so you could fulfill all of your whims and desires and pleasures. God is now very far removed from you and only awaits your return home. He has no reason to show himself to you. When you get knocked around long enough on the physical plane, you'll start looking for a higher way and sincere seeking will put you back on the path to return home. Until then, God will be patient.

Jesus already came to earth and proved he was the son of God, of which included several miracles. God has already proven himself without end. Just look around, the simple fact that you and this universe exist. So when he returns or you die, there will be no more second chances, you have chosen to either deny or accept him and time is up. He will have given everyone more than a graceful amount of chances to repent and accept him. You could try to argue it with him, but there's simply no doing so. He will apologize and cast you away with eternal seperation from him because he had not ever known you. I fear for those who will be in that position however, because then it will be too late for them. Very, very sad to think about.

I guess you could see him every time that you go to church...in pictures and people's supposed faith, but they believe in a "guy", not unlike themselves as humans and that most likely is not what God is. God is this place and all other places. God is not a He. He is not a She. She is an It that is so far from our understanding that to believe that you could see It in your eyes would be like seeing your own eyes, as they are while looking at your eyes while you look--i.e. "one hand clapping". So good luck seeing God.

You might get a sense, but never the entire thing. It's like knowing all of history...for the entire galaxy...really, more like the universe. Try to comprehend the (Earth's) oceans for example. Just admit that you are small and see what you can do in your short life toget a little bigger. I guess that is all for now...If I were to keep on typing for a little while, then this answer would start to resemble God... & so on & so on...

I agree, Upfront denotes honesty, all this mysterious shrouded crap would mean something is seriously wrong. I however think that god was created by man inorder to maintain order, control, to some extent use to keep out outsiders, to give faith for what seemed to be hopeless situations and to answer questions that at the time seemed to not have a logical understood answer. I actually think the concept of a god or god's to be a beautiful thing but I find that it has also planted some very dangerous seeds in some peoples minds poisoning the very thing that god was created to protect a respect for all things living.

I agree. God's original idea of "free will" wasn't about belief. It was about love and obedience. He wasn't going to interfere in our lives in a manner to make us love him, because coerced love is not free love, and he wasn't going to interfere to force us to obey, because the obedience was to be done freely. Supposedly, according to the Bible, God had no problem showing Himself 2000 years ago to prove His existence. People almost couldn't get away from Him. But all of those miracles, and all of the talking He did, was all in one very short period of time in just one area of the world. Since then, no one has seen hide nor hair of God. Why? It doesn't make sense.

At this very moment I am homeless with my four daughters, I'm a single mom and this is not the first time for us but there is a difference this go-around. I have been re-born, born again spiritually, born unto Christ the Saviour. My spiritual life is a life on earth that I now know is our purpose for being born in the flesh. it's awesome. I could die tonight, It breaks my heart and scares me. God knows whats best...He doesnt have to show himself for His believers knows that Hes with them all the time...we,humans,the people are responsible for what is happening in the present time...God is around,always....and THAT is my opinion....
