I love most Animal Planet documentaries, and those affirm my respect for nature.
And My Name is Earl reminds me that you take responsibility for your own fate, and that what you do can dramatically affect others' lives too.

My favorite show is Cold Case, and I like it better than other crime dramas because it's actually very humanizing. It doesn't stoop to the simplicity of having "good" and "bad" characters. Everything is a bit more multi-faceted, and it focuses more on the complexities and poignancy's of life. It's done so well, it makes me cry almost every time. So, in a way, it does give me a spiritual feeling. Kind of like how a really good book can make you feel like you've gained something worthwhile.

The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Laughter is good for the soul. Comedy has a way of bringing out honesty.

My favorite show is House M.D.
I don't know about spiritually, but I would love to have a doctor just like him.
My second favorite show is Eastenders. There's really no spiritual connection there either.

My favorite is Survivor. Spiritually, it doesn't affect me in any way.
Maybe they should do a season with R&S athiests, Christians, Muslims, pagans, etc. I'll bet it would be very interesting---and I'll bet we'd have a lot in common and get along with each other just fine.

*Scrubs is a good one too! It's probably my hubby's favorite :D And the old episodes of Family Guy are too funny for words! And of course CSI (Las Vegas) can occupy me :) And I was a fan of Lost, but they kind of "lost" me! hahaha . . . get it? :p)*
