You should start looking for another job, very soon. I've been sacked before (3X) and each time it took from 1 to 6 weeks to find another job. Don't get down on yourself and keep your options open. If you quit before you find another job you won't get unemployment. If you get fired due to slow sales, you at least have a shot of getting some money coming in.

Selling is not for everybody, you have to decide whether it suits you or not. Take a long hard look at yourself, strengths and weaknesses, and can you work on them? Could be your work environment, management, or you. What motivates you to get a sale?
Sales people are a dime a dozen. On a personal note, I rolled 4 cars yesterday, but I should have had at least one more, and that's the one that bugs me. And that should tell you something about me.
So you have a few choices:
1. Dig in and work harder
2. Work somewhere else
3. Try a new vocation
You might just have a bad boss and need a change of scenery.
Good luck

Walter has a point, get a new job before you get fired. Also, try to figure out WHY your sales are bad. Is it the product? Is it the company reputation? Do you need more training on HOW to sell? Is sales not the right job for you? Then learn to communicate properly and that should help you in ANY job.
