i think its statistically determined, like the elo ratings in chess, 'they' look at the whole and then make a predefined fraction of the askers ( and why not the questioners ? ) top contributors, only god knows what is happening exactly .,..
i think 'we" have to wait until 'they' fixed 'it'

I don't know. I honestly feel that the whole thing is kind of retarded to be quite honest with you. But then again that's just my opinion on the matter.

I imagine it is because most of the people who have answered a lot of questions have gotten their accounts closed so they have to start over.....
