how old is your daughter ?- newborns cant regulate their temperature until about 18 months old - then from this time they will sweat if they get too hot, especially in their sleep and if there is no fever or illness, sweating is simply the body cooling itself down, unlike when she was a tiny baby, if in doubt look at http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/, other reasons could be teething or ear infection

Hello,
Hyperhidrosis, also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea means excessive sweating; sweating too much
The most active regions of perspiration include the hands, feet, armpits and the groin area because of a relatively high concentration of sweat glands in those areas.
There are two types of hyperhidrosis. Primary focal hyperhidrosis refers to overactive sweat glands that affect certain areas of the body, such as the hands, feet, face or underarms.
This form of hyperhidrosis can't be prevented and isn't contagious because it was probably inherited (although the condition may skip a generation). Secondary generalized hyperhidrosis is total body
sweating prompted by secondary medical conditions or medications.

This is most likely due to the child being too warm. Keep the room on the cool side, ensure there is ventilation, and keep them in a simple cotton onesie.
This can also be a symptom of infant sleep apnea which can be cause for concern. Observe the child sleeping for snoring or pauses where they do not breath (4-6 seconds is normal), or gasping. If you see any of these consult a peds specialist ASAP.

Both of my daughters who are 1 yrs and 2 yrs old, get that way sometimes. Its not something I would worry about. Its just means they're hot! I just take their clothes off and turn on the a/c. Or if you can't do that. Just give her some cold water, and use a baby wipe. I used to use that for my 2 yr old when she was younger.

It could be a number of things, is the room the child plays in too hot, have you put too many layers of clothes on the child, and does the child sweat in cold weather?, just to put your mind at rest i would take the child to the child clinic.

Is her hair really thick. My son's is and his head sweats all of the time. I don't see why it is a problem. Fortunatly I have a boiy so I keep his hair real short all of the time. Maybe you could put in a pony tail or get a cute shorter hair cut.

My baby sweats a lot, too, usually when she's nursing or while she sleeps. Not sure why! She is just a hot sleeper. If she doesn't have a fever, don't worry. Don't wrap her too much or put too many layers on her, especially when she is sleeping.

Probably just hot but ask your doctor to be sure...when my son wakes up from his naps his hair is sometimes matted with sweat and very damp but that is just because he got too warm.

She's hot.
My little boy feels the heat much more than I do, he just sleeps under a sheet in the Summer.
