Sorry I am not a homophobe nor a catholic basher. I am tired of group of self-righteous men claiming to represent god and condemning gays when they live in a mansion without women.

What kind of straight man points out allegedly gay behavior of other men? A homophobess? What kind of man is a homophobe one who is afraid he might be gay? I am not gay and in fact I think homosexual activity is immoral. However, I don't spend my time worrying about what gay men do in their spare time.
First of all, it isn't a costume. That being said bishops wear mitres and vestments because they are traditional. They have been worn since the first centuries of the Church when they were similar to regular clothes worn by men at that time. If you knew anything about the history of the Church you would know that.
Either you are a hateful homophobe or a hateful ignorant protestant or both.

Personally, Fundamentalist dont know dirt about Catholicism. They just talk about what they know, and find a way to twist Catholicism as being some evil religion. Dont read any anti-catholic site, they will just bash catholics. Actually, fundamentalist complain about the Mainline Churches and the orthodox churches claiming to know so much about them. Instead, they dont know anything about other branches of Christianity.
