jergens natural glow daily moisturizer works really good & looks great too..it's also really cheap (i think like $12) i've used it for a long time & it works amazing
when you buy it, get one shade lighter than your natural skin tone, and it will gradually give you a darker glow without turning your skin orange

if you want to keep from burning, almost any sun-tan lotion with spf 35 and above plus uv protection will work..but theres always a risk when your tanning no matter how much protection you have.
*hope this helps*

If you are worried about cancer from the tanning booth, then buy a self tanner from the makeup counter. Don't go cheap or you will end up looking like a carrot. I buy Lancome self tanner for face, and they sell another for legs and body. I am porcelain skinned and Irish and I look like I just got back from Tahiti after using it. I have never had a problem with it making my skin turn colors or break out. It seems expensive, but the 2 bottles last all summer, and I applied it every morning to keep a healthy looking tan, although you could do it every other day. Good luck, and DON"T go cheap...there is nothing worse than LOOKING like you have used a cheap self tanner!!

I bought a tanning lotion from a tanning salon and it only cost me $20. Australian Gold Accelerator is best for if you're trying to get darker faster, and it can be used for indoor and outdoor tanning. When I go outside I actually use 4 to 8 SPF sunscreen, you still get the same amount of tan and don't burn at all because of the screening effect.

it depends, because if u will use it in the tanning bed, yes it does make a difference!!! tanning bed lotions are specially formulated so they do not contain ingredients that will damage the acrylic of the tanning bed...regular lotions are not permitted, because ingredients such as mineral oil, etc. are harmful to the acrylic...most salons will verify that u have the appropriate lotion before allowing u back to your cubicle for tanning...the lotions really are so much better, i only use the indoor stuff for outside tanning as well, to get super super dark!!!!

NO lotion can protect you from skin cancer. NONE! The only way to protect yourself from cancer is to wear a strong sunscreen. Use self tanner instead. Exposing yourself to UV rays causes aging and skin cancer.....no matter what lotion you use.

lmnaao-laughin my nonexistent azn *** offl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i absolutedly adddooore you kyoot ppl
every product that comes on shelves has been ested by the american ppl-hmm i think the FDA?and is fiiiiiinnne-cmon now-if someone got cancer the would immediately sue and theres been no cases of that yet so have funnn

i reccomend the new dialing tanner-you set the dial to get either a light glow(and i mean gorgeous shimmery light) to a full blown out brazilian chocolattee tann-it works with two different lotions- one light ad one dark-when you twist the dial to th right, it gives you more of the dark lotion and less of the light so that you get a darker tan, and vice versa, ou get a lighter one when you twist the cap to th left...it looks funn and its..well....funn to usee:)great for beginners, who can tann littttttttlllle by lil

have funn sweetie:)
