sentinel, so why didn't he have mercy for all those who died in hurricane katrina, who worship him a lot more than i do?

the fact that so many have died unnecessarily while i still live proves either he is unfair or he just doesn't exist.

Apparenty He gets really pizzed off if you deny the Holy Spirit. Do that and you're stuffed, I'm told.

Let's try it: "I DENY THE HOLY SPIRIT!"

Nope, no immediate response.

God isn't the One who causes our problems. H e educates us through His Word, but if we choose to do what we want to do, we won't live happy. Say a man has two sons. He educates them both well, but when they grow up one decides to do whatever. So his life gets messed up. Is it his father's fault? No. Same with us. And now say that the son that did obey got in a car accident and he died. Is it the father's fault. No. Same with us. The only difference is that God has the power to change things. An He will make a change, He has already appointed a time for it. All we gotta do is prove ourselves to Him. If we die now, doing what's right, He will give us life again here on earth. SORRY FOR THE LONG SERMON! i hope this helps though

God has no need to prove Himself to you. You are without a Father, and unless you finally realize your need for One, He will not come.

God is Love. (I John 4:8)

Love suffers long and is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not parade Itself, is not proud, does not behave rudely, does not seek It's own, is not provoked, thinks no evil. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things. Love never fails.
I Corinthians 13:4-8

He will wait for you, but not for forever.

And I think something in you knows that there is a God. But the rest of you fights back at the fact.

God loves you, for He is love.

The question is, are your temptations working?

Let's see here, why is God ignoring you? Maybe because he thinks your worthless, because he knows you don't value life so why should he value your life? Maybe if you start to communicate to him in an honest and straightforward manner you would realize what you were missing. Face it buddy, nothing is real but reality, no gods holding you back, no angels waiting to save you, it's you and nobody else. So whatever you make of your reality is yours. And as a fellow human being, me, I would just like to say that your missing out. I'm not trying to be snide or resentful, all I'm saying is, you're missing out. I don't know anyone who really understands things like me, but it means little to me, because I understand, I know where I came from and where I'm heading, and every breath of life is a wonderful treasure. Did this happen on accident? Is this the result of my genes? I highly doubt it, in fact, I'm sitting pretty here, feeling like a God. So if you have what it takes inside of you, you will stop wasting your time on the worthless investigations of other religions and start to make your own. Stop worshipping a fairy tale god and start focusing on the god inside of yourself. That is your true nature.

God will love you and want the best for you until the day you die. When you meet Him face to face, then you can make your argument. My hope for you is that He will listen, but as much as I know about it all, it will be too late. Keep searching, Ask God to help you find Him, and I am sure He will reveal Himself to you.

Not very wise. Ha. Your working hard to not seek God. How can you find Him that way? If you don't travel to Fiji, read about it, you probably won't believe either. Read "Resurrection" by Hanegraaff, and "The Case for Christ" by Stroebel. Then make a decision.

Heavenly Father indulged and loved the disobedient Hebrew children for 400 plus years. He is very patient.

He is a loving God, and His patience far outlasts ours. I would not be able to have the patience that He does. That's why He is God and I am not.
