which hotel is better in Florence? Mary's house or hotel aline?

Mary's house is not really an hotel, they rent the bedroom and a shared bath. Single room cost abt.$ 50 while for 2 person the twin room cost is abt.$ 73.-

Hotel Aline is 1 star hotel at the 4th flour of an ancient building. Single room costs abt. $ 70 and for the double room cost is abt. $ 95.-(with shared bathroom)
Double with private bathroom costs abt. $ 120.-
Both are not serving breakfast + are pretty close to the main railway station and to the city's centre.
If I were you I would go with Mary's house if you're travelling alone and with the hotel Aline if you're in 2 persons.
