If you don't believe in Religion then why are you in the religion/spirituality section? Just to try and talk down the ones who do believe? Or are you really trying to prove a point?

Spiritual: of or consisting of spirit, (not corporeal; meaning not of material) of "RELIGION" sacred.
Spiritualism: the belief that the dead survive as spirits that can communicate with the living.
God is a spirit....therefore all things "Spiritual" have to do with God. Like it or not it's the truth. Not just my opinion

It`s just to be antagonistic, if not why don`t they go into the many other forums instead,it is a sad reflection of their state of minds.

You have to forgive the rudeness..... it's just because we've heard this question HUNDREDS of times! In fact, i believe it was posted at least once or twice earlier this morning/afternoon!

I'll pose the same question to you that i posed to them..... Do you have to be a football player to talk about football? Do you have to be a pilot to talk about flying in an airplane? The great thing about being on an OPEN forum is that anyone can talk about anything they want to. Any questions they can ask or answer, this site is opened for them to ask whatever they want or answer whatever they want.

I come to answer questions, kill time while i'm at work, and bash on the christians who are intent on pushing their beliefs on others & bashing those who don't follow the christian regime. It's a fun site to kill time on. If you want strictly religious conversation that is agreeing with everything you believe ...... why don't you sign up on a religious forum where free-thinking is not allowed & people are only allowed to speak in favor of what you believe.

If that's not for you then stop posting these non-sensical questions about why non-religious people are in the religion section of an open forum.

Oooh i almost forgot.......... **Gulp**

I cannot say for anyone else. But the reason I am here is because of the second half of the name of this "room;" Spirituality. It is possible to be spiritual without being religious and vice versa. I find many of the questions intriguing, and feel that my input (even if it is entirely rejected) is valuable to someone, even if it not the person who asked the question. I try very hard not to be rude or inflammatory. But that's just me. As I said, I cannot speak for others.

Religion is just a well organized church, using the spirituality as its theme and promoting its own organizational needs for domination and control over the masses.

Jesus did not need religion or churches to converse with Father God, neither are we, however it is nice to have place where people can get together and communicate/pray .....

There is a big difference between religion and spirituality. Some of these people you may think don't belong here are actually talking religion. Satan worshipers are religious..so this category covers a large spectrum. I myself worship Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior...but that is not who all of the people here worship.

See the 'and Spirituality' part of the category.

Anyway I'm a pagan and a Taoist in addition to being an atheist. I'm here to answer questions from my very unique point of view.

C'mon, it's good for you to be exposed to thoughts outside the box.

Oh Jelly Bean, it's religion AND spirituality. Maybe they believe in spirits or something like that.

I think the history of religion is interesting. And it's kind of amusing to see that even people who claim to have the same religious beliefs can agree on what they believe.

It is just as rude if you are not homosexual, to go into the gay and lesbian section and rant there. It is rude. However here, it is just fun sport to demean others. Don't worry, they have their reward.

Matthew 12:36
Jesus said, "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment."

You don't have to be an artist to be interested in arts. I'm very interested in Mythology. It is simply fascinating to see that there are still people around today who believe in gods.

Questions like this make Believers such as us seem ignorant. This question has been asked 100's of times every day. This is why we get stereotyped.
