Thank You! Pretty much confirming what I instinctually thought....
He said he was too mad to do it face to face?!?! Then continued to pout how hurt, scared, powerless and confused he is. The best part: "maybe I am not in the right head space to date someone like you"....Uhh I dont think ANY person would accept a "dear john" via text.

It seems awfully crass to me and shows no feeling or respect for you. If he couldn't tell you face to face, he could have at least telephoned and talked to you. I would say you are lucky to be rid of someone why cared so little for your feelings. You might text him back and say one abbreviated word. TNX

That action was cowardly and immature. If he didn't have the decency to tell you face to face he wasn't worth your time. It also showed he didn't take you seriously so therefore he is what we call a "loser". The word loser is taken lightly at times but in this case I use it as strongly as can. I would recommend that you do not contact him anymore and find a real man.

I just learned today (froma friend) that they do not break up with women face to fase because they dont really care about the females feeling and they do not want you to see their facial expressions...no matter what lame break up excuse they give you. Also my friend said that they do not want to be around if the female happens to be crazy...

He is too much of a coward to break up with you face to face and respected you that little then that is a perfect reason to write it off.

Been there done that!! Sooo NOT FUN!!! He's a Loser and you dont need to waste anymore time on him than you already have. I gave my ex 3 strikes.... he's definitely OUT!!!! Good Luck!!! Find you someone that is worth your time cause this person definitely isnt!!!

Absolutely, if he can't tell you as an adult that he no longer wants to continue the relationship with you face to face but rather "text", then I would think your BETTER OFF without him.......

If he thinks so little of you and the relationship, that he'll end it via text, then he's definitely a 'write off' because that's what he did to you (wrote you off).

if he is trying to break it off with...you probably have to accept it. wait a few days and let things cool. guys always want what they cant have....so be strong and let him try to win you back. if you call him and cry or beg for him to come back...that is a major turn-off. they dont like that.
stay strong... there are lots of other guys out there...

Ya, well he probably didn't want to do it to your face because he a. thought it would be really dreadful or b. knew that if he did it face to face he would start liking you again.
