Probably not, as you have to be in good physical condition to get into the military academies, just as you have to be in good physical condition to get into the military.

West Point is like MIT for the Military.

You cannot join the military if you are diabetic.

Well initially no, however there is a waiver process. Chances are you probably will not end up going to any Commissioning program of any kind because they all go through the same medical exam. Its called DoDMERB (Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board) and all branches use it for commissioning and diabetes mellitus is a disqualifier. Now you can see if there is a possibility of getting it waived however its not likely.

I say call or find the requirements of been accepted...
Because it will need a physical train and I don't think is OK for a person in that condition to be accepted...
