Talladega is a good track for Mike. How well he does is still up in the air but he should make the field on a track where he has had some luck.

I think he has a decent shot reflecting back to the pre-Gatorade Duels qualifying at Daytona. Michael had the 25th fastest time, and 2 of the cars ahead of him may not be attempting to qualify at Talladega (the 60 of Boris said and the 23 of Mike Skinner). Of the 23 drivers left ahead of him, only 2 are outside the top 35 in owners points.
To the other part of the question, after Dale Jarrett uses up his last past champ's provisional, I would definitely look into using Bill Elliott to try and keep some of the sponsors happy. I know most fans don't like the move but from a business stand point it makes sense.

MW has been the slowest car at most of the tracks this year. He did Qualify for the races at Dayonta so he might get in this races but I"m not that sure. Dale Jarrett only has 1 more povs. left and he most likely will use that this weekend. and then he will be missing races. MW racing is in trouble IMO. Mikey should have only started 1 full time team and a second parttime team he tryed to do to much at once. I told all of his fans that it was a stupid idea for him to start 3 teams with Toyota in one year its just to much for anyone to try to do i dont think MW racing will ever be a winning team in cup. He should just move all of his teams to the busch seris. I say MW Qualify's for 3 more races this season. the 2 Talladega races and the second race at Dayonta and thats it.The rumors that MW has to repay Napa $300,000 per race he misses better not be true because if they are MW will be shut his teams down very soon. If theres rumors are true MIkey would own Napa $2,100,000 as of right now.

Mikey is the most over-rated driver ever. He has only won a few restricter plate races and that was back when DEI had the set-up for those tracks. Why is is big news he doesn't qualify? He has been a middle to back of the pack guy his whole career. If it wasn't for his brothers name, he wouldn't even be in the cup series.

Hopefully not. And Bill Elliot has already said that there is no way he climbs in the 55 car and I don't blame him. I can't imagine anyone wanting to drive it with how horrible it has been this year.

He might make it. If he does, he probably won't do very well in the race. Given that car's performance this year, I think he would have trouble finding a top tiered driver such as Bill Elliot to drive it.

Not now, maybe later. He should step out of the #55 car for a while & focus on being the owner, instead of trying to be everything to everybody. Maybe he should try to qualify his car in the fall race when his head is a little more clearer.

Mikey is having more than his share of troubles lately. I think Toyota has a ways to go yet, and he also needs to straighten up, just seems like too much distracting him from good runs.

His car doesnt have the power to make it in. He is just too slow on his own. If he somehow gets in he is a pretty good drafter and could get a top 25 or so.

MW would have been better off staying with DEI and the chevrolets than venturing off to the Toyota scene... as you can see none of the toyotas are doin crap this season.
