I have found that the best way to know something is to ask. Come right out and ask him, whats up! Don't put up with cheating, it shows you don't like yourself if you continue to let him hurt you. He is jealous and too attached because HE did something wrong and is projecting what he did onto you and worried that you might do the same. Sit down and have a good chat with him, if he won't change, then leave, you deserve better.

He is acting jealous and attached because either
1. He is afraid you are going to repay him the favor and cheat on him......or
2. He is still cheating and he is transferring his guilt on to you, and will treat you like you are the cheater. ?????
Now why he is with you would be harder to figure out. It could be both. Just because they cheat, doesn't mean they don't love you. A lot of times the fact that they do love you is why the choose to cheat instead of just leaving you.
But when there are children involved it can change everything.
(Don't have enough info about situation to be able to give any real good insight, sorry.) Good luck though and try to do what feels right for you.

cheating you do not have to put up with this and there are much better men out there that can provide for you and your child, some one who will want to be with you for you and not judge you,
Him being Jealous may be a sign that he wants you and no one else can touch you, and the to attached is there really a chance that he can be to attached? how is he being to attached?
but then again the too attached and jealous may be a sign that he has realised what he has done feels like a fool and wants to try and correct this for himself with out you noticing.

What does sort of cheated on you mean? Either he did or he didn't. Why is he jealous all of a sudden? Do you have male friends? Ask him what the problem is. You barely communicated well with your question so how can you communicate with him...

There is no such thing as 'sort of cheated.' He either did or he didn't. It sounds to me like he wants his cake and eat it too. Why don't you just ask him outright? Your life, your son's life are all important. Why ruin two people's lives?

We do not know this answer. You need to ask him and go with what you know about your own man. Do not put it off. It is nothing wrong with him being supportive of you and your son that is what a man does. Cheater you will not tolerate. Most likely if you have these doubts ask your man.
