In my RE lesson recently our teacher said that she never wanted to be a teacher but she felt God talking to her through other people pulling her to teach. She said that if we are off path God sends people to correct us, or that God will tell us what we need to do. All my life people have been telling me to do this certain career, since i was 4!?!? lol, and sometimes just random people say it to me. I want to be a doctor and this career that everyone keeps mentioning is just SOOOOO different and just totally different. I dont see how God can want me to do something like this- but do you think its true? Can God really want me to do this other career? Even if i truly believe i cant do it- and how can a career like this even affect the world? Im confused. Whats your view on this,
P.s the number of people who have told me i should do this career must be over 30 in all my life.

btw this other career that everyone keeps telling me of is a model?!?!? I mean come on, thats got to be a fu cking joke right? God would never want me to have a career like that right? Would good would i do with it? it doesnt make sense

God can speak to us thru others.... if you have a relationship with God and you feel that God is leading you to be a Doctor... then that is what you should do....
the most important thing is to pray and ask God Himself to guide you.... and trust what He says!

I do believe God speaks to us thru others. He has done so for me more than once but I agree with what some of the others say, pray to the Lord yourself and ask him to fill you with the Holy spirit. Satan can influence you in the same way but God will make it clear to you if this path is the right one. God has a plan for you and even if it isn't clear how he wants to use you, it doesn't matter cos he knows.

The Lord will use others to speak to you, but just because others think you should do a certain career does not mean its the Lord speaking to you.
My understanding is that not every decision is not a right and wrong answer as far as the Lord is concerned. What I mean is that you choose a career for many reasons, and as long as those reasons are within the will of God your decision will also be within the will of God.
If you really want to know Gods will..........pray and spend quite time talking to him and listening to that still, small voice.

Children should be protected from lunatics like these, not taught by them.
Look at the world around you - does the nonsense this woman spouts have any relation to science, logic, reason and reality when properly examined.

Wow - God must have made you pretty if ppl keep saying that to you - don't take it for granted - thank Him for it!
I don't feel qualified to give you careers advice as such, but I would say - whatever you decide to do, aim to keep your motivation right - use your brains and your looks for God's glory and not your own glory or personal satisfaction.
They're both tough fields to get in to - you prob want to talk to a careers advisor about what to expect in each of them.
To answer your question - yes, He can speak to us through other people, (although don't rely on other ppl knowing what God wants you to do all the time) - He also wants you to learn to hear Him for yourself (and also to weigh what other ppl and situations say). (Something I need to learn too!)

Yes GOD does sometimes use people to talk to us and lead us.But u can use this thing to find out if its GOD will or not.When u do something u will have peace but if its something against GOD will u will not have peace.Time and time again something in u reminds u u did it wrong.But unless u renew ur life with JESUS u cant discern between them both.Cuz if u live in sin u probably have peace even when u sin.So please recieve JESUS.
"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

I beleive that if God is real and all powerful like he is alleged to be, then HE should personally be telling you what He wants your life plan to be.
I beleive that people are inherantly selfish, and that often, as adults, we push our wishes and desires onto others, especially children that you want to grow up to do the things that you never did yourself.
I beleive that the only person that you need to worry about pleasing in life is yourself - and this is a career youre talking about. Do not pick that which makes others happy - pick what it is that wil make YOU happy - after all, it is YOU that will have to live with your choice for the rest of your life, not anyone else.

What is God telling you?
May i add that i would choose the career that would bring the greatest benefit to myself,my family,my neighbourhood & if possible the whole world.

Read the Bible. Ask God to give you His Holy Spirit. We receive the Holy Spirit when we accept the Lord Jesus as Savior, repent of our sins, and choose to begin to live for Him.
This is your first priority in life.
Jesus said "Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things (the things needed for earthly life) will be added to you."
(Matthew 6:33)
Without doing this, you run the risk of wasting your whole life.

Yes, I believe that God speaks to us daily through others, and circumstances He presents to us. BUT, I also believe that Satan speaks to us, as well. He is the prince of the earth. If you have doubts, PRAY. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, the Holy Spirit will lead you, and you will know who is speaking to you. God Bless
