to lose weight fast....is it bad to stp eating at 3:00pm and not enquire 3 meals during that time period

it can be really bad, when your body is hungry, it feeds off of your muscles first, then after all that's gone, it'll start feeding off of fat, your better off just making sure what you eat is healthy, because not eating at all is going to gain you nothing, it will just make you weaker.

Its very bad. Megan makes an excellent point, protein only requires 4 calories (units of energy) to break it down, fat requires 9. So it is easier for your body to use muscle (protein) first then go to fat. But the thing is, at rest, muscle uses fat as a fuel source. Fat does not have an energy requirement. It just sits there. So if you lose all your muscle, it will be even harder to get the fat off.

So what I suggest, start a goal oriented exercise program, (not running, it is a very inefficient use of time) but strength training program, and restrict your caloric intake to about 1500-1700 kcal per day. Keep in mind, I say this not knowing too much about you. But the average person needs about 1500-1700 kcal per day. If you start a strength program you will increase the caloric deficit and lose weight quicker.

Short answer, you can't lose weight fast.

Diet and exercise and 6 small snacks a day to keep metabolism up, and that way u wonlt starve urself and binge. Don't eat after 6pm. Visualize urself being hot and sexy, and healthy in 6 mnts and it will happen. Fast wieght loss is not healthy+ causes yoyo effect.

2 meals a day is ok....and not to eat after 3 is ok as long as you eat 2 balanced meals.

of course it's bad. it's horriable for your health and body. also, you won't lose weight, because once you start eating again you'll gain it all back and then some because your body will go into starvation mode and you will be messing up your metabolism by doing that.

if your goal is to lose muscle mass and increase the body fat percentage that is a good way to accomplish that. you may drop pounds on the scale but you will become fatter

you'll lose a lot of weight, yes. but you will not be able to keep it up. no one has that kind of disipline. and it makes your metabolism really messed up.
