Car seats in the usa?

I am going to the usa soon with some friends and my 2.5 yr old son, we are hiring a car which i will be driving, should i hire a car seat, take one or buy one when im there?

A 2.5 year old ought to have a car seat on the plane, but a seat from another country may or may not install correctly in cars here. If your seat is approved for airline use, bring it with you and leave it in the hotel when you get here to use on the plane on the way back. You can't rent car seats in the USA, they're considered one user items, and no mainstream retailer will rent or resell used ones because of the potential for them to be dangerous. The comment above was perfect, buy a Cosco Scenera from Walmart when you get here for $45 and give it away before you leave. You could even buy it on Walmart.com and have it shipped to a Walmart store where you're going to be.

No. Why? the only ones who pass to heaven are those chosen as fit to decide the eternal way forward for human beings on the earth or interior the grave and resurrected back to earth (decide via the Bible). toddlers can't try this. A decent car seat will cost you about $45.00 (there is a WalMart or Target store on every corner) -- just buy one then donate it to charity when you are done.
