Judas is the most popular suicide story. But also, in the Old Testament there was a large group of people (Hebrews, I assume) that committed suicide rather than be conquered by an invading army.

Judas Iscariot hung himself. The place where it happened was called "Potter's Field" and also "Field of Blood". The Bible reports that Judas fell among the rocks and his bowels burst open. It is believed that the rope around his neck broke allowing him to plummet to the rocks below.

I think king saul in the old testament - fell upon his sword and killed himself. That was because he knew the enemy was coming, and it was more "honorable" to chose the time of death, rather than let the enemy take him and die an ignoble death.
There is more than several theories as to what happened to Judas after the said betrayal. To date, none of them are proven. I think he lived a long life, and got to see many events take place. He might of even wrote a little something about it.
