Sometimes I think that sex can comfort you because it makes you feel wanted and desired, but then sometimes it just leaves this big empty hole in your heart. What do you think?

Its simple there are two types of comfort.
1. A man wanting to have sex with you confirms you are physically attractive to the opposite sex and is a compliment - no matter what anyone says about sex and how one tracked a man can be and ignoring religious beliefs a guy just wanting to have sex with you is a compliment about physical appearance
2. A man wanting to be with you is a compliment about you and who you are and is what will really make you feel good
If you need comfort go for neither, wait until you no longer need comfort and a guy is just an added extra.

It depends on who you're having sex with. If you're having sex with someone you don't really love or care about, then you could be using sex to initiate a feeling you are void of (i.e. - want, desire, feeling special to someone). The "big, empty hole" feeling probably occurs after you've had sex with someone you don't particularly love or care about. Find someone who is worth your time and your love (and vise versa) and you won't have these feelings anymore. I only have sex with someone I love and I know feels the same way about me. That way I'm sure not to have the "empty hole" feeling.

From a guy's point of view, sex would never leave a big empty hole in our hearts. Sex is needed for our well-being or we would snap.

it depends on what kind of sex you are having and for what reasons and of course with whom. if your out just to succumb to a raging desire to have a one night stand then sex can be what you make it and tomorrow it doesn't matter as long as you satisfied your needs. but if however you are desiring love and affection then you really got to make sure it is with the right person and that sex is something you do together...a connection specialized byt he two of you in your own personal manner otherwise I'm afraid its just a waste of dam energy.

I think its true,especially when you just slept with eg.the guy you fancy at work,its all good while you're getting down and jiggy,BUT the morning after you feel like ****!! That was sex is all about,splendid dangerous regretful PLEASURE!! But we love it,DON'T WE??Have sex(responsibly),you only live once.

I think people have sex for different reasons. Some not so good. It depends why you have sex with someone, how you feel afterward!
