I got justZIPit from download.com. Works great.

7-Zip is an open source file archiver with high compression ratio. Do not use WinZip becuase you have to pay for it. WinRAR is another alternative, but it has a trial period (which does not expire but keeps asking you to pay for it).

Winrar does more than Winzip. It can help you restore damaged zip files.

Also windows XP has its own zip capability if you didn't want another program downloaded. Right-click > New > Compressed (zipped) Folder. Then drag whatever you want into it.

Try Freezip. It's much smaller and very efficient. And incidentally, WinRAR is not free.
