yes because it makes them feel good for being asked and you feel good when they say yes also it makes it easier for them seeing as they have a hard time anyway

I'm going to say yes, it's ok for a girl to ask a boy out. A couple i know who are getting married in the fall started with the girl asking him out.
There is something to be mindful of and I'm not trying to scare you away. If he says no it's ok. He could have any number of reasons for saying so. He could already have someone, not be looking for anyone, just got out of a bad relationship or any number of things.

On the face of it, there seems to be nothing wrong in it, as long as it is respectably reciprocated, or, at least, not reduced into a one-sided habit / pattern.

It depends I suppose. If you mean asking a guy out like to be his girlfriend well then that may be looked upon as being desperate. Or maybe you're just wanting to ask a guy out on a fun date to hang out sometime. Well... that's perfectly fine. =)

Deffinately. Guys are usually pretty shy so go for it! But if he is not at all shy around girls wait. But if you think you've been waiting TOO long ask him!
