I work out after 9 or 10 pm most nights. I have found that for a while after I get home I am wound up a little but I have always gone to sleep between 12 and 1 am. If that doesn't bother you, you should be fine. Don't forget to stretch after your workout though if you are going to sleep soon after.

I found recently I do better by working out in the AM, but I was also recently laid off and have the time to do it in the AM right now. I used to do it in the PM and did not personal find myself wound up. I end each work out with good cool down stretches and then when I would do PM a nice hot shower would relax me enough to be able to go to bed. Its all on personal preference!

I do both- whatever fits my schedule for the day. (I also base it on what classes are going on at my gym). I actually prefer working out in the morning, though. It wakes me up, gets my blood going and mentally, I'm super sharp all day.
When I work out in the evening, it helps me sleep soundly. It takes me less time to fall asleep and I really don't have any problem w/ winding down at night. I guess it's a testament to the intensity of my cardio class- it really kicks my bum! Haha.

In the morning, it's better to just get it out of the way. When I was younger I used to work out at night but I find now that I am older it is best to work out in the morning.

I love working out in the morning (when possible). It gives me the energy for the rest of the day. It also helps control my eating because 1) the adreneline is going and helps control hunger all day plus, 2) once I have excerised my mind is always saying that I worked out and I don't want to ruin it by putting something stupid in my mouth

I can only seem to find time in the evening as well. I throw on a UFC DVD and work out mostly my sexy legs and tight perky bum.

I go in the morning to get it out of the way. If I don't go then, I probably won't want to after work.
