Many of you think I'm a big Jesus freak. Well I'm really not. I may be a Christian, but I'm not saved just yet. I'm searching all the answers first, even if it takes years. I'm just not ready yet (I'm pretty young) so for now I'm trying to get my beliefs organized. Of all the 33,000 plus Christian denominations, I don't agree that any one is 100% right, I'm independent, I'm trying to find out want I think is right.
I just got off the topic of evolution, but I didn't get all the answers I wanted. I was going to try to put both beliefs together, but my conclusion is that I don't think its true. Or, I need to do more searching.

Ah well, now I'm on the topic of Hell, no pun intended. You do notice how the only part of the Bible that talks about Hell is Revelations, don't you? Snce Rev. is mainly on the topic of after Judgement Day, and what will happen, maybe they meant that the only people who will go to Hell are the sinners who will turn their backs on God and get the sinners mark.
The only trhing that leaves a gaping hole is where the unsaveds will go to NOW.

Somewhere in the Bible it says King David {i think it was David} didn't make it to Heaven, but instead of going to Hell, God had him sit at his "right hand"
So, David would be somewhere between hell and heaven. i think the whole system is a lot more complicated then just heaven and hell.
i know this may sound weird to you, but if ur a christian, u should believe in spirits. a couple years ago, my "grandpa" died. to make a long story short, lets just say we started noticing some weird stuff a month or two afterwards. He wan't saved, so he should have gone to hell. But if he was with us, then that means theres something wrong. I don't know where he went, but i don't think it was hell.

Look dude first of all get over the idea of i am young and i have lots of days.U soul will be asked by GOD today what would u do?All the students at virginia tech were young yet it was sad to see them go.death is certain nobody knows when its gonna happen.Just as death is real heaven and hell is more real.Stop finding who is spending where and who has gone to heaven or hell or any spirits.U main duty is to decide whether u want to go to heaven or not.If u want too
"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
Remember GOD loves u so much that he sent his son to die for u.He didnt waited he just made the way. Please kindly walk the way and stop thinking about stuff. The more u think the more confussing u might feel. But salvation is simple and a free gift available to all who want to receive it.GOD is waiting for u.....

You ramble quite a bit. What exactly is your question on hell? You'd do well to get your thoughts organized and start another question entry.
But I'll add a few notes for your pondering anyway.
Revelation in NOT the only place "hell" is spoken of, or even detailed. The word 'hell' is used throughout the Bible, though misleadingly. The word 'hell' is used as the translation of four different original language words in the Bible: Sheol, Hades, Tartaroo, and Gehenna.
The first two (Sheol -- from the Hebrew, and Hades -- from the Greek) mean the grave, or more generally and maybe poetically, the place of the dead. All who die go here; both the wicked and the righteous.
Then there is 'Tartaroo'. It is only used once in the Bible, and only concerning angels, not mankind. It is most probably a temporary prison for the sinning angels.
Finally, there is 'Gehenna'. This is the place Jesus used as a TYPE of the place of final destruction -- the place where the unrepentant wicked will be to be utterly destroyed, body and soul. That TYPE, or symbol, is used of the Lake of Fire, called in Revelation as the "second death."
Gehenna was a garbage dump, just outside Jerusalem. Jesus used it as a type of the Lake of Fire because it is where the criminals were thrown, it had fires constantly burning (unquenched) and, as all dumps, flies and maggots in abundance (the worm that doesn't die).
Continue your research, that is most certainly good and approved of by God. But get your thoughts organized please, then ask your question.

Yes. Hell is real and is a place where those who sin and rebel against God go. It is a "lake of fire" and your soul will be tormented eternally by the devil and his angels. There's no escape. You need to seriously pray and ask God to give you knowledge so that you may grow spiritually. Reading the word of God is the best thing for you. You don't want to wait long to get the concepts of Christianity. It might be too late because the bible does speak of God returning to get his people. Hell is very very very hot and your soul will rest here forever if you do not accept Jesus.

Okay no preaching and no holier than thou stuff from me, all I will say in answer to your question is this, Hell is the complete absence of God`s love, and the last thing is this,no matter if we believe or not we still receive Gods love while we are here on this earth,if it were not so all of us would truly know what Hell is like.

The body of your question really has me confused, but to answer the title question-I don't know how Hell really is, but why the heck would I chance finding out? What if I don't believe in Heaven and Hell and Jesus and I end up being wrong? I am just stuck in Hell forever. No thanks. I chose to believe what the Bible says about it being a horrible place.

I think the movie 'Constantine' showed how horrible Hell will be.
I'm glad that you are investigating faith. Hopefully, you can get unbiased information and find out how faith will affect you and whether or not you can believe in something.

I don't know how bad hell is, but there is only heaven and hell after death. There is no middle ground, and the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Jesus said that many will say, "Lord, Lord," but He will say, "I know you not."

Just how many "additional details" do you NEED? So far, you've asked only ONE question, and babbled on about "fluff" that we don't need to know about.
You want to know about hell... and if it's all it's cracked up to be? The answer is... yes, and worse. You want more details... then stop it with the "additional details" and just let the answers flow!
