Excellent point, and if God is omnipotent, then he knew that Lucifer would create sin, damning millions to hell prior to creating him. God CREATED sin knowingly.

Hello, I'm a Christian and a student of the manuscripts:
You are absolutely right, and I commend you; Because of Adams sin, Adam was not
to live more than one day (he did not reach the age of 1000 years, which is one day with God). However, that was punishment for Adam's part in the sin, NOT THE PUNISHMENT OF ALL MEN. The word
Adam in the Hebrew means mankind, unless it is written "hah-Adam", which means "thee man" or that specific man.
When they were thrown out of the Garden,
and you read that Adam might also take of the tree of life, understand that the Tree of Life is Christ, the Word of God; it was not given to man that he would find salvation until the price had been paid with the crucifiction, so it was imperative that Adam not partake of Christ until the appointed time. Note that the tree of the knowledge of Good/Evil was Satan. Trees are used as symbols of man quite a bit throughout the Scriptures. Remember when Jesus cured the blind man, and he said "I see men as trees, walking".
Anyway, yes, it was decreed by God that man would remain mortal in the flesh, then the crucifiction would provide the opportunity for a man to have eternal life.
Flesh man had to remain as created until
the end of this flesh age, and we are here in this flesh for a specific reason.
The manuscripts go much further into detail about the Garden and the events that happened there, but these deeper truths are not taught normally in the churches. In fact, in 35 years of study, I have found only 1
single church that teaches from the manuscripts. The information contained there with regard to Adam and Eve, and what really happened, would amaze you.
When translated from the original Hebrew over to English, very little of the deeper truths or fuller thought carry thru to the English.
For example, Adam and Eve did not eat fruit as part of their sin. Or how about this:
Did you know that Cain and Abel were twins? Did you know that Abel was NOT
Adam's son? All true, right from the original manuscripts of the Book of Genesis.
What ye say??
Hey, its summer here in Valley Forge PA
yippee................!!!!!!!!

Very good. I'm glad someone is actually reading the Bible.
Yes, through one man's sin, we are all doomed to die,... once.
Romans 5:12 -- Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.
Heb 9:27 -- And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
And it is true that God created man mortal (contrary to popular belief), that is, capable of dying. However, he did not HAVE TO die. If he had not sinned, he would have been allowed to eat of the tree of life and live forever. God did not bar the Tree of Life from mankind until after Adam's sin.
However again, the Tree of Life is not barred from all forever.
Revelation 2:7 -- "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."
God made us mortal, but he wants us to have immortality. But only to those who will not make life unbearable for everyone through sinning.

It may be that we do die because of Adam and Eve. When they were banned from the Tree of Life, so were the rest of us. This would have been unfair except for the fact that at this point Adam and Eve would have, by example, taught their children to sin. So, they would have died.
Of course, I am no fool. I can see how weak the above argument is. It is more me suggesting the start of one line of reasoning. It is certainly not a definitive answer. One of the difficult things about being a Christian is that you do not always have the answers to difficult questions but that is also a great thing because you then search for the answer in scripture and directly from God (we have a relationship with Him). When we do get the answer, be it within minutes or a few years later, we are much closer to God, we know Him even better and we can see even better how wise, loving, powerful and intelligent He is. I cannot convince you of this unless you are a Christian who has experienced a relationship with Him. Whether you choose to believe God exists or not, there is most definitely a very intelligent being, who is very real, who communicates with Christians all the time, who teaches us, who loves us, who disciplines us, who sometimes scares us, who becomes angry with us, who is proud of us and who shares in our joy and sorrow while we share in His.

God was testing/protecting the first two humans by having the tree in the garden. The tree did not give life it was poison and gave death which is clearly stated in genesis.
And they were instructed not to eat from it. They were created to live forever. The scripture you are quoting is saying that Adam and Eve were attempting to live under their own accord instead of listening to god and doing what he had commanded (Not to eat from this tree). This coupled with the challenge that Satan laid out is what has changed the course of humanity. We are living in the time allotted to Satan and mankind by god, to prove whether or not man can live independent of gods ruler ship. Man is failing miserably by the way.

You are correct. I'm glad to see that when you have a question, you go directly to the source. Good Job. Also look at Revelations 22: 2-3; "On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3 No longer will there be any curse...

Genesis 2:17 "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
Neither Adam nor Eve died on "the day" they ate of the fruit. They were cursed to die on that day.
As for God's statement about the tree of life, God said this -after- he'd cursed humanity with death. In other words, had they eaten of the tree of life, they'd have restored their immortality which God had taken away.

Nope GOD didnt kick adam and eve because he was scared.GOD is holy.adam and eve sin.there is no presence of sin near GOD.so GOD send them out because he cant bear sin.He is holy.He doesnt want a bunch of humans living forever invovled in sin.GOD aint scared of anything. He has created everything with his word. But GOD also made a way for u so u can come back to him this time sinfree and live for ever.so if GOD is scared why would he make a way through JESUS so u can live forever. This is the way GOD made for u through JESUS
"For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

We were originally created to be immortal. Notice God said of EVERY tree you may eat except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That means we were eating from the tree of life. Once we had eaten from the tree of good and evil we were now godlike. God banished us from the garden of eden, not as punishment, but to protect us. If we had eaten from the tree of life again after the tree of good and evil, we would have been immortal in our sins, and God would have had to destroy us instead of establshing a way for our redemption.

Listen - when God made man - Jesus was as good as dead. God knew beforehand what would happen - that man would choose his own way - not God's way. God made a way though for salvation - when man decided to have his way - God made a may to reconcile Himself back to us - through his Son Jesus Christ. Man made a choice - his own choice - to be disobedient to God - it is happening now in the his world and will always happen. Listen - Put your faith, your trust in Jesus - believing Him - that is He is God's Son - choosing to believe there is no other way to Heaven - that you will spend an eternity separated from God and Jesus - if you choose your own way. I hope this helps - I might have been long on this one. Blessings dear one.

Have you read the whole Bible? Genesis isn't the only place that Adam and death are discussed.
