I don't have a problem with homosexuality, but you are using different definitions for the same word in your question. It is a semantical error.
unnatural means:
1. In violation of a natural law.
2. Inconsistent with an individual pattern or custom.
3. Deviating from a behavioral or social norm
4. Contrived or constrained; artificial
5. In violation of natural feelings
Thinking homosexuality is unnatural is using the using the third definition. The statement that "I'm going along with the perceived notion that unnatural is bad." is using the fourth definition.

Yes it is natural. Human beings as well as animals are born homosexual. If some households are raised to believe it's unnatural, then those people will look at it as an odd thing. Lots of people are born to love the same sex. Homosexuals can reproduce, although it is not typically done by having heterosexual sex. ASEXUAL pregnancy is how gay people reproduce, and even heterosexuals do that. As humans, we all improvise things and create ways to put things into ourselves without the help of nature. We eat with utensils, drink sodas, travel by car, get organ transplants and surgeries... ALL of these things that we do actually alters our own lives and "goes against god and isn't natural." Being gay is NOT a conscious "decision." A decision is when you have options and you pick the one you want. Obviously, NOBODY gets to pick and choose who you will be attracted to - not even male or female. If you didn't choose being straight, then you should be able to understand that gay people did not "choose" to be gay, either. Nature did the deciding for us. The ONLY decisions people can make is being themselves or force themselves to live a lie just to fit into other people's fantasies or belief systems. Nobody should do that.

Yes, I do think that homosexuality is unnatural, but not because I think is is gross.
The reason that it is okay to eat processed food and use things that have been changed chemically is because all of nature has been put here for us. While I love animals and can appreciate the beauty of nature, I do belive that it has been put here for us. We must always care for it and not abuse it, but we can USE it.
It is wrong however to USE another person. This is why homosexuality, as well as any other sexual act outside of marriage whether between people of the same or opposite sex, is unnatural. It is unatural because it is not what our bodies were created for. It is wrong to USE another person for any reason. We can not USE another person for labor (slavery), we can not USE another person to relive our stess on (mental, physical, or emotional abuse), and we cannot USE another person to relive our sexual passions, even if that person says it is okay to do so.
Within a marriage the husband and wife do not USE the other person for sexual satisfaction, but rather, out of love, give of themselves to create new life. This is not possible in other relationships, either because the two people can not physically create a child (homosexuality and contraception) or they are not doing it out of love (pre marital sex).
Yes, I do think that homosexuality is unnatural, because it is wrong to USE a person.
God Bless!

I don't believe it's unnatural. Animals do it and you can't get any more "Natural" than nature itself.
I think a lot of people shut off their brains during the 7th grade. About the time the rest of us were learning "Mind your own business" meant to keep your nose out of other people's personal lives and learn to live in relative peace among EVERYONE... not just those we chose.
I'm beginning to seriously doubt the maturity level of many of the people in here claiming to be adults.

No. Everything is natural, even "unnatural" chemicals. Humans created the chemicals, but all human activity is controlled by nature so it's still natural. It is, however, abnormal since most people are not gay. Abnormal does not mean bad though.

I think the word "unnatural" is used, like you said, synonymously with "gross" or "ewwie."
I also think that it would be hard to find a person who believes homosexuality to be"unnatural" that doesn't masturbate, which, by such standards, would also be just as "unnatural."

Homosexuality is not unnatural. There are even animals who are homosexual.
I think you are right in that some people use the term unnatural to express their own closed minded prejudices and discomfort with it.

Homosexuality is no more unnatural than heterosexuality.
And you know they will tell you that the bible says nothing about organic food or clothing....

There is nothing like it in the natural world so I guess the term unnatural fits. Maybe you don't think it is bad but God does.
