No, I don't believe there is such a thing as being saved. It is all an illusion and a fallacy.

The Bible says that once you are in the hands of God, satan can not take you from Him. That doesn't mean that you yourself couldn't do something that would cause God to turn away. It is not what He wants, but we have to choose Him. When we sin, we must ask forgiveness. But not only ask, but truly feel horrible for that sin. And then try our very hardest not to do it again. The Lord knows our hearts. There are no loop holes with Him. You must always be straight forward.
Rev 22:19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

I'd better not... It would be embarrassing on both sides if I had to be let in as an atheist, just because I had once totally and sincerely believed.
And prayed, and invited Jesus...
Though I suppose if I was being let in past the pearly gates, I might have grounds to reconsider my atheism... Tricky one, that!
More seriously, those who hold to OSAS are reduced to insisting that such as I can never have been true Christians. And as far as I can tell , no-one was more true or genuine than me, *then*. Even to the point of declaring that my faith was unshakeable. But I wasn't right about that.

no, because you can step out of God's Will and began to seek your own. That's like saying once a baby always a baby or once a thief always a thief . When your a baby you grow up and become an adult and learn responsibility. And if you used to steal you come to a point where you want to change and stop stealing. There are ways you have to go about making a choice to get a job and realize it's wrong to take things that are not yours . Now the temptation will come up at times ,but you have to remember you are no longer a thief . you no longer take whats not yours . When you decide to let God in your heart and choose His Will you become a new creature .to seek Hie will through His Word ( The Bible ) .

No, that is NOT taught in the Bible.
The doctrine of “once saved, always saved” is as foreign to the Bible as salvation by “faith alone.” One is truly grasping at straws to support this false teaching by using this passage (John 10:27-29)! Note that in order for the sheep (Christians) to receive “eternal life” and to “never perish” Christ requires two things that His sheep must “actively do.” Not simply two things they must believe, but, rather, two things they must “do!” First, the sheep must “hear” (which involves obedience). Secondly, the sheep must “follow” (which involves continuing obedience). Question No.1: Is the granting of eternal life by Christ to His sheep dependent upon their “hearing and following?” Question No.2: If “hearing and following” are prerequisites to gaining eternal life (and clearly they are), what happens to those who don’t “hear?” Question No.3: What happens to those who hear, but don’t “follow?” The answers are obvious!
It is true that “no man” can pluck the sheep who hears and follows Christ out of His Father’s hand, but this passage does not even hint that a man cannot himself quit hearing and following Christ. This same disciple said in the fifteenth chapter of this Gospel account that a man must abide (keep His commandments / remain faithful) in Him (vss. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10). He also said that if one does “not” abide in Him (keep His commandments / remain faithful) he is “taken away” (vs.2); he is “cast forth” (vs.6); he is gathered with others who do not “abide” (vs.6); he is cast into the fire (vs.6); and he is burned (vs. 6). Certainly, it is not indicated that these were “plucked” out of the Father’s hand by some man or power (they weren’t), but it is clearly and irrefutably indicated that they “chose” not to “abide” (remain faithful) and, therefore, have been “taken away” and “cast forth” (fallen from grace); to one day “be cast into the fire and burned.”
It isn't even logical. If it is true, then when you are saved, you don't have to go to church, you can commit any sin you want and not worry about, and you would never have to do anything else again since you are "guarenteed" a place in heaven.

no...the Bible says we are saved from our sins not in our sins...if someone got saved and then went out and killed 20 people and done wrong by the Bible they cannot go to heaven. well first of all i don't think you would do those things if you really got saved but a person cannot live in sin and say...i got saved when i was little i don't have to worry about anything...they need to get saved from their sins and turn and follow Christ.

Nope. Sin takes us away from God; repentance and faith brings us back to Him. That can happen at any point in your life, even after you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Saviour.
I worry that people will judge me for going to church every week - thinking that I'm self-righteous. But I go to church every week because I need the spiritual upliftment that it gives me. It helps me to keep trying to give up my selfishness, and it gives me more faith to overcome my fears.
I am not even sure that I am saved right now, let alone saved forever.

If you are truly saved, yes...
However, there are many that become members of a church or religious organization because their parents or families were members, etc....
Just because one is baptized, does not mean they are saved...even if it happens later in life...if they do not come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and invite him into their heart..they are not saved...eventhough, they may have went through the motions.

yes I do- why do I believe this- because Jesus said-'No one can snatch them out of my hand". Think of it this way too- what if every time you did not do God's will or sinned and you would lose your salvation- what if you died before you confessed- would you be in hell- no because Jesus died once to save us from our sin- granted as a Christian we should strive to live a life that pleases God, however, at times we will still sin, and at that time we do need to confess and repent- as it says in 1 John 9. We are guarantee salvation, from the moment we first confess, repent and ask Jesus to be our Savior- He abolished sin forever. The Holy Spirit has sealed us.
