I want to live in the upper east sude and was wondering what parts are safe? like is their a street that I shouldnt live above?

The Upper East Side is very dangerous - you could easily die of boredom (I've never cared for this neighborhood - there is very little I find interesting here)

96th Street is the dividing line between the Upper East Side and East Harlem. The upper East Side usually starts on 59th Street. The wealthiest Americans and the wealthiest citizens of the world live on he Upper East Side. You have billionaires there with 15-room apartments. Also the best NYC four-star restaurants are there. Way too much police for criminals to hang out in that neighborhood without getting noticed.
