Yes, I was told the two sets of outputs on my mono single channel amp in for conveience but was told 2 different way to wire 2 subs to these. I was told to just wire each sub to each set. I was also told to wire them in series....."" 'Series' means that your subs are daisychained on one channel sharing the power and ohm load. An example would be: amp pos to 1st sub pos; 1st sub neg to 2nd sub pos; 2nd sub neg to amp neg. If you run both subs off of the two outputs you will reduce the power output to the subs. ""

SO, which is best?? These are 4 ohm single voice coil subs and a mono amp.

When a mono amp has two sets of terminals, they're wired together internally so they're effectively the same as one set of terminals. There's no difference between connecting two wires to one amp terminal and connecting two wires to separate amp terminals (on a mono amp).

Most (though not all) mono amps are stable for a 2-ohm load, and will produce their maximum rated power into 2 ohms. Your two SVC 4-ohm subs will combine for a 2-ohm load if you wire them in parallel. The easiest way to do this is to follow the advice you were given to wire one sub to each set of terminals. The amplifier was designed with two sets of terminals for exactly this situation.

A series wiring scheme would result in an 8-ohm load at the amp, which would reduce the power output dramatically.

if its a mono amp there would only be one set of outputs.. and if you wired the drivers in series you would loose power because you would raise the impedance to 8 ohms. if your amp is 2ohm stable i would "daisy chain" as you said but do it in a parallel circuit...
just connect all the +'s to the +'s (amp-sub-sub)
and vice versa for the grounds

google "rockford fosgate wiring wizard". it has quite much all wiring thoughts for amps and audio gadget. going parrell is what you want for youre subs. or you will possibly be able to desire to pass only one sub for all of the wattage.

For 2 ohm, wire them like so http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL.jpg
