I think you should have it professionally done, but if you want to do it,here goes. Use Basic White or Clear Blue hair bleach. Also needed a plastic cap,& a hair dryer with a cap or hood. If you're doing a Virgin Bleach (Which is on your natural color) keep the bleach 1" away from scalp & 1" away from ends until the color you want reaches the 1/2 way point
(Gold color) then apply at scalp & ends. (Heat from the scalp causes the bleach to lighten quicker. The ends of your hair are like a sponge and lighten quick also.) Apply lightener, put on plastic cap & go under a dryer approx 30 minutes or longer (depending how dark your natural color is) bring hair all the way up to white. Shampoo, then apply a light ash Platnum Blonde hair color. Permanent color. Condition hair.

It depends on what your natural hair color is (the starting point). Getting that platinum blonde is very hard to achieve at home. If you have dirty blond or brown hair - your color has to be bleached out (stripped) & then dyed platinum.
You should go to a salon & let a professional do it or risk seriously damaging your hair.

What color is your hair right now?
It's extremely difficult to get your hair to be a platinum blonde color without professional help...and trying to do it on your own can be pretty damaging. Depending on your hair color right now, it can be a long process. My suggestion is to go get it done at a salon...If you need it to be cheap, go to a cosmetology school. The students there know what they're doing, and there is always an instructer nearby to oversee the work they are doing.

You need to use a higher volume developer-if you used 10 last time you may want to try 20. Please keep in mind it's risky to bleach your own hair, you could do a lot of damage. If you really want to be platinum you should go to a salon. Good luck!

Please, please, please do not bleach your hair at home! You haven't said what color your hair is right now. If its all your own natural color, it will be really easy for a hairdresser to get you to the blonde you want to be. If you have color in your hair, it will be tougher, but it still can be done. And remember if you lighten your hair that dramatically, you will see regrowth within a couple of weeks. Are you ready for the cost of the upkeep that hair this color requires?
Good luck.

I don't recomend doing it yourself. Go to a salon and have it done. Its kinda expensive but its worth it. You will get the results you want and less risk of seriously damaging your hair, bleaching it will dry it out and if you leave it on too long your hair will break.
