My son is 20 and has bumps on his head,itchy scalp and his hair is falling out. Does anyone know what this could be and what to do about it? He is very upset.

It sounds like your son has psoriasis.

Go to a dermatologist, or at least an MD. They can prescribe you steroid-based shampoos, which do indeed work very well for the problems you describe.

You might want to take him to the doctor. the itching could be bugs but, with his hair falling out, you need to seek medical attention.
