Tattoos still have a stigma of being only for bad people. Too many consider it not to be lady-like. My last girlfriend had more tattoos than I do, and I have a lot. I personally find tattoos on girls very sexy.

Because its the same double standard that applies to everything else about a woman. While some people don't like tattoos they have no problem calling a woman with a tattoo a tramp but if a man has one, he's tough or cool.

"Just because I'm not in a man's body means I will have to work twice as hard to get half the credit." Don't remember who said it but its the damn truth.

I've never heard that term either, but without a doubt, women are definately given a harder time in regards to tattoos. The "when you're old and saggy" comments are directed more to women then men. I think in general people would be shocked at some of the women who have them. We'll just have to keep trying to break those stereotypes!

I don't feel its about ladies "getting tattoos" its more about placement. I think the non tattooed public looks at anyone with tattoos in plain view (neck, hand) that can not be covered as unprofessional. All my are placed in spots that can be hidden with at least a long sleeve shirt! So, people do not stare at them, if say, i'm at a funeral or wedding. But really, who cares??? It's your body!!

The paintings of tattooing replaced into not executed for the sake of human beings or what their opinion is. A tattoo is a representation of a few area or activity on your life and could be executed basically for you. My tattoos are a my form of "paintings expression" on the grounds that i can not draw, sing, or play track. they help me share a factor of my life with human beings if others have an interest sufficient to invite approximately each and each tattoo.

Because they are judgemental and hypocritical. I love my tats and wouldn't get rid of them for the world. Don't worry about what other people say. They don't have to live with your tattoos, you do.

I have never had anyone say anything negative about my tattoos. I only have two, there tasteful, meaningful, and easy to hide if need be. I think a lady should be lady like when choosing her tattoo. http://www.tattoofire.com

i have never heard that women with tattoos are "snakes" but i do find that there is a negative stereotype associated with women that have tattoos and i think it just stems from ignorance and fear of the unknown. i think the only way to stop the stereotyping is to show everyone that we are just normal people. tattoos don't make us who we are.

People who find it unacceptable for us to be inked are as wise as they are open-minded(meaning they are closed minded fools). I wear my ink proudly...even when they are covered in clothing...because it is part of me.
Eff them. Go ahead and rock your ink.
