I personally like the name Tala, meaning wolf, but a lot of my friends have female Labradors, so how about Millie, Pepper, Isa? When I'm older I'd like an Irish Wolfhound, and I'd call her Lil, or Sal, if that's any help!
Hope I helped.

I think a girly name would be fantastic, just because it won't quite fit, and if it's a girl she should be your princess, no matter what kind of dog she is.
If she's a german shepherd, a stereotypical german name would be fun. Olga, Hildegaard, you know.
If there are any books you really like that have a strong heroine, that could work too.
So that wasn't a lot of names. Just places to look for names. I hope that helps!

What kind is she? If she's a golden retriever or a yellow lab, think about Amber or Sunshine. If she's all brown, maybe the name of your favorite candy bar. If she's all black, maybe Ebony. And if it is a shepherd, don't go with the obvious and name her Heidi.

How about Stella?? That way, if you ever have to yell her name, it will be like Marlon Brando, yelling, "STELLLLLLAAAAAAA!!!"
