Truthfully, it is very hard. The best advice that I could give on how to be a good Christian throuhout the day is 1. Surround yourself with good people (I don't have any of my old friends anymore) 2. Read the Bible and pray... a lot. (The more you do, the less you can be doing or thinking about other stuff) 3. And trust God. (If you include and trust God in everything that you do, you will be less likely to vere from what is right.)
There is nothing in the Bible that says that once you become a Christian, you have to become a hermit too, just remember that Jesus is always with you and that will help you to continue leading a Christian life. For instance, if you sit down to watch a movie and you wouldn't have invited Jesus to watch the movie with you (due to cussing, sex, drugs, or violence etc.) then you probobly shouldn't be watching the movie. Use that concept in everything you do and it will be ok.

By deconverting and becoming an atheist.
Christianity, like most religions, spoon-feed you lists of what they want you to think is right and wrong. You're discouraged from discussing why something is right and wrong, other than "God said so". This makes you morally lazy.
You would be a much better person if you, instead, thought about your worldview and reasoned out why things are right or wrong. You might not agree with everybody around you on all things, but you would have a moral stance that was supportable and one you would be more likely to adhere to.

sure, we do. Edit:"Why do they talk approximately repentance while they are no distinctive than absolutely everyone else" First, what makes you think of we commit a similar sin on a daily basis? 2d, what makes you think of repentance is trouble-free and a one time element somewhat of a lifelong technique? third, once you are able to exchange the worst element approximately you in one day, then you certainly would make a declare of superiority. till then you certainly are actually not any distinctive than absolutely everyone else. Edit2: "observe I pronounced absolutely everyone else, that suggests to me to boot by way of fact i know I mess up, yet I additionally bypass to God on a daily basis soliciting for His help." So do I. "some Christians say repent, repent while they don't do it themselves. I have no stone to throw on the unbelievers." Jesus all started His ministry with that very be conscious. a million minute in the past

The Greatest commandment is to love one another as I have loved you.
If I treat others with the respect I want to be treated with and go out of my way to help my fellow man or woman then the rest falls into place. Also, taking a moment now and then to talk with God in prayer helps keep me grounded.
Good luck and God Bless

You should put the teachings of Christ and the Gospels into your every day actions and life. You should talk to a priest in your parish if God is calling you to be Catholic. The Church is the fullness of Christ where there are seven sacraments, one being the Eucharist which truly is Jesus Christ himself. You can't get any better than that! God Bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.

I start the day with thanks and praise, I go into the day with a good mind and heart set. I read pieces from the Bible.
Also, St. Augustine said, "preach the Gospel at all times...and if necessary use words".
Welcome to the Kingdom. Your life will be changed forever!
Get into a good bible-based church and seek out people of your age group. Watch and ask, watch and ask. That will help sooooo much.
God bless you!

being a good christian requires perserverance. IT will not happen overnight. All the bad habits that you are trying to change will eventually change but don't berate yourself when you fail. Ask right then for GOD to forgive you and help you to not do that again.
Learn to love yourself and loving others will come naturally. It is so hard to remember that GOD loved EVERYONE and sent His Son for EVERYONE. But once you can learn to see the good GOD created in others it is a lot easier to walk with HIM.
I ask GOD to show me one good thing about a person that I am struggling with. He always does and that makes me like them and then love them because they are GOD's creation. Then I find praying for them is easy and I actually am happier for it.
Get the Purpose Driven Life and read it. it wil help you learn what GOD's purpose for your life is.
Bless you and I pray you will stay strong in your walk.

nobody is perfect and neither are christains despite people saying christians think they are superior to others. all i can say is stand up for god and don't let people put you down because of what you believe in. read the bible for help and pray. you can't always be good so don't worry about not being good the whole day. you can get angry if you want to cause you can't help it.

Alexia, the easiest thing to do is to keep one scripture in your head. Its to "Love the Lord your God with your whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep those two principles in mind, it will affect everything you do, whether it be for yourself or for others.
