No. No one knows what will happen when we die. No book written by humans and so far as historical evidence will show- thats all we have.

People believe because the idea of not existing is so scary that they put it out of their minds completely.

Its vainity plain and simple.

The idea that we don't go on forever is sad. But wishing otherwise doesn't make it so. Every century people think the end times are near and of course they have always been wrong. Whats worse than the slaughter of 6 million people? Nothing that bad has happened since. People think terrorists are the worst thing that could happen? Thats just silly, ignorant people who have no idea what living in a real war is like.

Revelations is simply a book written by men. NOT A god.

I don't think that death is the end. But as far as the bible goes. I don't know if it is God spoken or not. It could be, or it's a great history book that used God in place of natural disasters, and taught of a great man with his teachings. I don't know it could be either one.

Invest some time in reading about the Buddha. Seriously, no joke. I'm an atheist, and I still find alot of value in reading about his life and teachings. If you want a non-dogmatic, truely enlightened and enlightening ideology, consider the 8 fold path illuminated by the 4 nobel truths.

Peace be with you.

what does it say in the bible???
in the new testament it clearly says who wrote the accounts, matthew, mark, luke, john, doesnt say god anywhere

the old testement is mainly a historical record
certainly not written by god

the bits that arent purely historical werent written by god either, in fact its recorded that they wee written by moses after having it revealed to him by god

so i guess unless god dicated in the forerunner of hebrew, then no, its not gods words lol

any christian that believes it is should study the bible harder
