Is there any poroblem other than it is illegal (in case)?

One is that it is an illegal copy. Two is that you have no way to tell if it has a virus attached to it or not. Remember you are getting a pirated copy of MS Word this way and anyone could have attached any type of keylogger or virus to the program.

"NO! DEFINITELY NOT! if you want word 2003 make sure you buy the software from a trusted retailer. (but why not buy word 2007, it is only $128 AND you can install it on 3 computers, so it is actually cheaper to buy 2007 instead of 2003 ; ) but don't download any thing off the net!"

microsoft has been known to do the same thing the riaa is doing... if you get caught, it could mean a big fine.
