When he tried to run from the cop that is probably when he got in real trouble. If he was just popped for the gun charge he would be booked printed an released withing 24 hours and probably given an apperance ticket where he would probaly pay a fine and at worst have to do some community service. Now it can be worse.

Not sure what the question is but - a gun without bullets is useless. Running from the police is incredibly stupid - especially when armed. He is lucky to be alive.
Get the hint - this guy is no good. Staying with him will result in poverty - for both you and your current or future children.
If you decide to stay with him, start getting used to the idea of spending your weekends visiting him in prison.
Get smart - hunt for a man that can provide a future.

He is still your boyfriend after that? Wow. He will be gone awhile, so you will need to decide if you want to be with someone who will have an arrest record and will have a hard time getting a job after getting out of prison. But then he probably didn't work anyway did he?.

Show him how much you care by waiting until he comes home. By doing that you won't reproduce and with a felony eluding, concealed weapon and hopefully a drug charge in there the gene pool will clean itself just a bit.
