hey my sister has allergies it sucks.....but i need to tell u this do u smoke? coz smoke kills taste cells on ur tongue

other than that yes one of the symptom's of having allergies is that it makes u taste food with a different taste or without a taste....go see a doctor and in my opinion the best to things to do about allergies is 1.to take the herbal medicines not only cortisone and chemicals
2.try 2 atleast exercise 5-10 min a day to help ur lungs and breathin system.

i hope u get better and good luck!!

I would check with your doctor.
The nose does play a role in taste, like when your nose is stuffed, you can't taste anything or everything tastes like straw also some medications and smoking can change the taste of things.

Caffeine and nicotine interfere with taste .
The allergies could also , are you taking meds for that ?
Medicine net discussed allergies but I didn't see if they also went into additional side effects but you can check
