I am considering joining the Air Force. I have a 18 month old and I have been married for 4 yrs. My husband is in the Army but wants to get out. I wanted to know from women who are in the Air Force and married what life is like? Do you like being in? I know it depends on your MOS but are you away very much? What is your day to day life like? What is basic like? Are the recruiters more honest then Army recruiters?Any Info you can give me would be helpful Thanks

I was in the Air Force but was single. Nothing like the Army, that I can guarantee. The only similarities is that they both wear uniforms and they both salute and stuff. The similarities end there. My niece is in the air Force, married with a 5 year old. She absolutely loves it.

No recruiter is very honest. They can be court marshaled for telling you anything you don't want to hear.
