I cannot answer that directly as I am not a religious person, but rather spiritual. But from what I have seen, those people that belong to religions where they are told they will be persecuted, usually are. And I don't think it's because they have the "one and only true religion," I think its because they bring on the persecution themselves by forcing their ways upon others, and making all of their beliefs public. When a person tells someone they are doomed to hell, or will die eternally, (just a couple small examples,) do they really think people are going to respond with a smile? I doubt it. Thus, they get their "slap in the face." They did it to themselves.

Maybe in the early days of Christianity - the days of the Martyrs - you could've made that argument. Nowadays, nothing could possibly be more comfortable and easy than calling oneself "religious" and specifically "Christian." It's encouraged and rewarded. In many states you can't even run for elected office as an atheist.
What "Christians" consider to be "persecution" nowadays is when people insist that they refrain from imposing their sectarian agenda on secular society!

I don't feel persecuted, but it is not easy being a Catholic.
I am not addicted to belonging to any group, or feeling sorry any of the time.
Christians do have fun, we just do it without regrets.
Peace!

believe it or not there are people who are persecuted even now for their religions, christians are still being killed in other parts of the world, as are many other religions. You're question makes no sense so i thought i'd just share some facts.

No, they are addicted to the notion of persecution. If they were to actually experience real persecution they wouldn't know how to react.

Every group cries persecution. They are all a bunch of babies, that includes theists, atheists, and agnostics.

I can only speak for myself. I'd rather not be persecuted and don't necessarily feel persecuted, but if it happens, it happens.
