The last 3 or 4 times I've eaten Chinese I've gotten very sick afterward. Now, my administrative assistants have asked to go for Chinese for Admin. Asst. day. Can someone help me to know what to avoid because I have a big program to run the same evening.

Many people are allergic to MSG. You may order your food without MSG, but, chances are it will have it in there, anyway.
If you are not used to eating lots of veg's, the fact that you are eating them could cause your stomach upset.
The best advice I can give you, is to make a big point to the waitress that you really have this allergy to MSG, and you are more likely to not get it on your food.

MSG an additive that can cause terrible side effects. Find out the name of the restaurant and check to see if their food contains MSG. Not all chinese restaurants use the ingredient.

MSG is often used in that type of food and can cause lots of problems. I would consider just having some rice and something very simple or ask the people that are catering the event if they use MSG in their foods at all etc.

I heard it was MSG, but I've only had issues with items that are overly sweet or deep fried.
