sounds like a fungal infection to me. better go to your dermatologist ASAP because you'll need medication to tackle it and obviously i'm not the one to give it!

in any case, make sure you take proper hygienic care of that itch. wash thoroughly in the shower every day. i don't recommend baths because that increases the probability for it to spread. you may want to pat dry it with a tissue and not let your towel touch that area. ask your dermatologist if he recommends antiseptics. in the case of athlete's foot, i combat it with vinegar--it's cheap, safe, and very effective--but never take counsel from Yahoo!Answers.

if you're gonna be taking antibiotics i suggest that you eat 2-3 servings of yoghurt. antibiotics can indiscreminately kill any microorganism in your body, whereas to stay healthy your body needs the help of certain good bacteria. replenish the supplies of these good bacteria by eating yogurt--good bacteria will also help fight off unwanted microorganisms in your body. taking garlic would also help, as garlic has natural antibacterial properties. i recommend finding a supplement that is made from whole organic garlic; i personally take Nutrilite (buy from www.Quixtar.com)
