It wasn't that God needed a sacrifice. The fact is we were all debtors to the law, and the law had to be satisfied. Because we had all sinned none of us could go to heaven. Then Jesus was sent as a mediator, he kept the law perfectly and was therefore able to enter heaven and since he was God's Son he could pay our way in too. This he did willingly..
Because Christ died for us and rose again we may also enter heaven if we are born again and follow the pattern of his life.

True statement but was not the point of John's gospel. The center of this chapter in John was about us.
Because God is just, he requires payment for lawbreaking.

It doesn't say that because that's not what happened.
What happened is what it says: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (KJV)
It was a sacrifice on God's part because He loves his son. "For the Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand." (John 3:35)
It was a sacrifice on the part of the Lord Jesus Christ because of his love for mankind: "We love him, because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)

God's laws and principles were there long before Jesus came to earth. Remember eye for an eye? Same principle. Adam(and Eve) brought sin to the world, he/they started out perfect, but because of his/their actions, no one else could possibly attain that perfection. Thus J.C. born of "holy spirit" and therefor perfect is the only one that could even the scales of sin and bring back the possibility for the rest of us to attain that perfection. Eye for an eye...perfect human for perfect human.

Because Jesus Christ wasn't tied down and executed by the Father. He volunteered to be the Lamb for the sins of the world. He voluntarily was born to the virgin Mary, suffered, and died. He voluntarily took upon Him the sins of all mankind and paid the penalty for them. On conditions of repentance we now can be saved.

The communication of love would be lost.
How does God communicate His love for us?
He gave His only begotten son.
Also by using terms like marriage and wife.
Study to show thyself approved.

For god so loved the world, that he sent his only son to live on earth for 33 years. Yeah he had a violent death but a lot of people were crucified in those days so it was pretty much the norm. Then he rose from the dead to be glorified forever.
Yeah, why didn't they make it clear that his sacrifice wasn't really that sacrificial?

God didn't need to believe there was an afterlife, God didn't need to know there was grace within the law. God didn't need someone to die for Him ... we did.
