It's a comforting thought, that ther's a father figure in the sky. Someone who watches over us, but there's no proof. Kinda sad, when I think of this.

No. It's your right not to believe in God. And if you're wrong, the God I believe in will totally forgive you and we'll laugh about this over a few beers in heaven.
