I had a stuffy/ runny nose on saturday/ sunday, Which then went away this morning, now i have that sort of funny feeling the back of my throat that you get sometimes when your about to catch a cold.. So does all this mean im going to get sick? :(

You might. If I were you, I would take 1000 mg of vitamin C every 2 hours. If I do that when I cold is starting, it often goes away or atleast is very mild.

edited to add: In response to the answer below mine, there's a lot of information to support the idea that we need much larger amounts of Vitamin C than is "recommended". The only commonly seen side effect from high doses of Vitamin C is diarrhea, and if you start to have diarrhea you just back off the dosage a bit. Vitamin C does not build up in the body (like Vitamins A, B & E can) and cause toxicity. 1000 mg's every 2 hours should not be consumed long term, only when you're trying to fight off a virus. But 500 mg 3 times a day is a good daily regimine. Here's more info on the subject:

omg April (prev post) im sorry but dont take 1000mg of Vitamin C every 2 hours!!! that the recommended intake for an entire day!!!

drink tea, have some oranges get plenty of rest
