I would agree with 3 days but there are conditions which must be met. Humidity can cause the poly to set up but not completely dry. The product container should tell you the conditions that must be met for good results.

The directions will, if anything, tell you to wait a little too long in normal circumstances, just to be safe. I would recommend waiting just the 3 days.

If humidity in your environment is extremely high, though (maybe due to it being spring and a lot of rain lately, increasing air humidity in general) then check the finish before putting furniture down and plan to wait longer than the 3 days. You want it to "feel" done / ready / solid.

usualy the directions on the can is best acuracy since they spend alot of time and money on testing to make shure their product is the best it can be and they want their costomers to be satisfied with thier products, go acording to what it sais on the can and you can be shure its acurate
