People are saying I am not a true Nascar fan, because I only want to see the "hot drivers." I am a true nascar fan, I have a few Nascar groups and I keep getting questions from fans wondering about the love life of their fave drivers. I try to get answers to each of my members, and why does it matter if I ask if Kasey Kahne has a gf? Don't answer if you are gunna be rude to me. I am just trying to get information for my group members.

Thanks to those of you who have helped me! Much appreciated.

Honey, don't worry about it!!! I, too, am a true NASCAR fan. When I watch, usually with my husband and my dad, I am the one screaming at the TV, yelling at a driver to bump another one or something. I am into all aspects of it. Yes, my favorite driver is Jamie McMurray, and I think he is such a hottie, but that is not why I chose him. His first Winston Cup race, I just pulled for him, being a new driver with the big guys. He pulled off a victory, and I have just stuck with him since. Checking out the hot drivers is just a fringe benefit....the icing on the cake!!!!

It's been in in the past. We are not only being fed BS on it being a "mistake" (how in the world do you mistakenly add a rule anyway?) but also on the fact it hasn't been a rule before except for last year. I'm not normally a NASCAR conspiracy theorist but this story pretty much has it written all over it. Luckily it means very little in the end. I'm probably in the minority here but the All-Star Race is fairly boring to me until the last segment. I don't care that NASCAR changed the rules. Let's face it, the All-Star Race's rules change all the time. I really have no idea what kind of format they're running tonight exactly and don't care that much. I do care NASCAR thinks I'm a complete idiot and can't see through a load of crap. If you can't finish on the lead lap racing a short race against mostly a bunch of scrub drivers you don't really need to be racing with the good drivers anyway.

So what if women like to watch to look at the hott drivers and crush on them a little bit their is nothing wrong with that and some of them are really good looking and the people who are saying all the mean and degrading things are just don't have anything better to do with their time.

PS I would like to point out as being a woman I think that Kahne and Jr. and a few other drivers are good looking but I do not watch just because of that I watch because I love the sport and I love the races and I love everything about it and I love everything involved in it. I can tell most everyone what car organization owns what car and most owners of particular cars and I can name every number and the driver that drives that car and then I can also tell you who most of their sponsors are, but their are some drivers I don't know who their sponsors are as I don't pay much attention to them. I can tell you almost everything you want to know about Jeff Gordon as I love reading about stats and I can tell you everything about races and championships and everything involving him practically and I have very strong opinions and I love knowing about the makes and models and the chassis and everything about the car and the templates and love learning new information. I think its a great sport and will always be a fan. Go #24!!!!

Yes Kasey has a GF.....

todays NASCAR drivers (except for a few) really know little about racing. Most no longer have to fix, or pay for their cars. They are not smart racers in the long haul like the guys from the old days.

For example - how many of todays guys would have survived Dayotona on the Beach - or better yet - the first race at Darlington (75 cars started that race).

It annoys die-hard fans when women come around calling all the drivers hot and barely knowing what a tire is used for. When a female can tell me how owners points are assigned, who owns what car (not the organization name, the actual person listed as owner), and what year Richard Petty won the Daytona 500 with an Oldsmobile, I will no longer be annoyed by that particular woman's attraction to a driver.

i am not trying to be mean, but most girls are not true fans. They just pull for the good looking drivers. It is 100 % true. You don't see many girls pulling for ugly drivers. Every girl i know either likes kahne or jr. You could be different but 99 % of females don't care about racing itself, they just like seeing their driver in interviews

sorry people have been mean, but true fans are more concerned with the stats and the races. We all have our favorites, and boy can they get rough. Do not take it personally, some people cannot help it.Being real, what does a love life have to do with how the driver handles the races?

Maybe people are being "mean" to you because they don't see any reason to ask questions about a driver's personal life. We watch the races for the sport...not to see any "hot drivers", not to see their girlfriends or wives! Also...instead of constantly asking questions about their personal lives here...you should try and look up the information BEFORE you post the question. Also...this section is to ask questions about THE SPORT OF NASCAR...not about a drivers personal life!

Goodness gracious...KASEY KAHNE is gorgeous! But I like Nascar because of the sport, not just because of the drivers, but they are a plus!!

Personally, I don't care if you or anyone else asks these questions.
And to comment on "having to know when the king won what race in what car" is silly and ignorant.
In fact, I could probably ask questions that stump the dummy who made that comment. As long as they are NASCAR fans...good for them.

Keep asking your questions, I support you !
