It can sometimes be a rollercoaster of emotions. Absolutely it is heart pounding and exciting. Worth it? so far! I've been having a long distance affair now for 3 years. We get together a couple times a year - we are both married. Its hard sometimes but the way he makes me feel is worth it. I woundn't have one with anybody that lived within 200 miles of me.

It IS heart pounding, it IS exciting, and you are the only one that can answer if it's worth it. You will NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!! If it's a great feeling, then it is worth it...BUT... if you have any doubts even if you are only 99.999% sure, then don't do it.....you will never forget what happened or how the people involved felt. So think about it before doing it, there's no turning back, even if you don't get caught, you'll NEVER FORGET!!!!!!!!

At first you might think that it is exciting cause another person other than your spouse/partner is giving you attention/gifts etc. But later on you will realize that its not worth it. Hiding and fear of getting caught is way too stressful. You cant introduce him/her to your friends or family because you're hiding your relationship. It is somethin that you cant be proud of because having an affair is frowned upon. Then later on, guilt sets in...eventually you have to decide which one would you like to keep. Worse, you might end up losing both.

it probably isn't worth it, i would of thought it would be exciting and maybe give you an ego boost, especially if you have been feeling low and unattractive or you are having problems with your current partner, i have thought about it a few times, but then i am not brave enough to carry it through, i guess though when the affair has run its course, you would probably end up feeling worse than before you started it, so maybe its not worth it after all.

I guess to some it can be heart pounding, exciting...it's something/someone new to them, and the cheating behind their partners back, not getting caught causes this rush of excitement ....but NO it's not worth it* Never is*~

No it is CHEATING! I have personally never cheated on anyone so I am not sure how exciting or heart pounding it would be to be a liar and a cheat. I would imagine it would not leave one feeling very good about themselves if they do have a self esteem in place in the beginning. God bless****

why would you be thinking about this??no its not heart pounding except when you find out the man or woman your having the affair with has children and they are very emotionally upset because you or whomever split their parents up..or heart-pounding when you hear the spouse committed suicide as they loved their wife or husband..this is facts so dont even think about an affair..its never worth the consequeses....

its nauseating, scary, the most terrifying ordeal imaginable.
heart beating furiously, beads of sweat forming, shaking uncontrollably.
wanting to rip your own heart out and stomach just so the awful gut wrenching feeling will end.
constant panic and worry that you'll be caught.
but yeah in the end it was all definitely worth it :)

It is never "worth it" to deceive someone..........things will come back on you worse. It sounds like you need some excitement in your life but find another way to get it.

It's all that! But, not at the expense at hurting the one you proclaim to love. If you don't get caught you will want to do it again and again and eventually you will get caught. Will you enjoy breaking his heart? You can never erase that pain. You stand to lose everything for something you already get at home.
