Most likely it's that you don't understand it.
I love to go to church. I don't find it boring in the least. But then, I have read up and understand every aspect of what is going on.
You may find a different service more enjoyable. A different pastor more engaging. Shop around.
I have a church right across the street from me. That's why I rented my apartment. Unfortunately this church does not feed my soul. The pastor talks about the latest movie he's seen and how it relates to Jesus. I can't make the connection. So I travel to a church some ways from me. My soul is fed there. I LOVE it!!!

I dunno, it's not boring to me, and I've been going for 37 years. The problem with most american churches is that they're becomming a "spectator" sport. Church wasn't intended to be a spectator sport. it was intended for people to participate and do different things not sit in a pew and watch a show. I play the piano, I translate for people, other people do all kinds of other things. You don't get bored when you're involved. You get bored when you sit there like a turtle in the sun doing nothing. There are lots of things to do in a church. Help older people, teach kids, sing, play music, do computer work, pray with people, visit sick people, help poor people, study the Bible in depth, clean, cook, help with sign language translating, .... there are many other things I don't have the time to list. When the whole Body of Christ acts like one, some people act as hands, feet, eyes... but together they function just like a body. When everybody does what they're designed to do it's not boring... it's called harmony.

It's all in your frame of mind.
I don't necessarily like all churches, but if I go with the wrong attitude I'm are sure to find fault.

Worshipping the Lord is not for your entertainment or pleasure.
Perhaps the answer to your question can be found within yourself...why do you attend church?

Try the new and innovative way of Ted Haggard to spread the gospel. It's anything but boring. (use condoms and silicone based lube for your comfort and safety.)

Maybe your are not doing enough to make it exciting. With no disrespect. People who complain about the church being boring is not doing enough themselves.
