Yes it is normal to feel sore. It only gets better with time and more experience. But if you continue to feel discomfort maybe that is something you need to consult with a physician.

It hurt because the hymen layer was torn. It's also known as the "cherry". Yes it is very normal for it to hurt. The more you have sex, the less it will hurt. That doesn't mean go looking for sex, but you get the idea.

Perfectly normal. Soaking in a warm bath will help get rid of the soreness.

If you are a female, then yes. Men should not experience any extreme amount of pain, but women often do the first few times they have intercourse. It's a combination of the stretching of your vaginal walls for the first time as well as the breaking of your hymen (a thin layer of tissue that some girls have stretching across the vaginal opening).

It is very normal for you to hurt, I mean think about it, try squeezing a carret into a plastic coke bottle, mental picture.
you will be soar for a little while but the more frequent you have intercourse the easier it gets. REMEMBER always use protection and get tested monthly just in case.
