The Trinity is:
One God who eternally exists in three different persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all of whom are fully God, all of whom are equal.
We worship God.

Jesus is the SON of God, not God Almighty. The idea of a trinity was never taught by Jesus or his followers. Look up the origin of the Trinity in the New Catholic Encyclopedia.
Rather than quote verses to you I would strongly encourage you to read all the gospels with an open mind. You will find that Jesus himself makes it clear that he is the son and that he is in an inferior position to the Father. "The Father is Greater than I am", "I do nothing of my own initiative but do the will of him that sent me." Often he speaks of being sent and he also is often shown praying to the one WHO sent him. Before miracles were performed, before his death. Was he mentally ill? talking to himself like that? To make Jesus equal to God is to give him an authority that he did not presume to take himself. OK one scripture: Phillipians 2:6... "although he was existing in God's form (in other words in the spirit), gave no consideration to a seizure, namely that he should be equal to God." It doesn't get any clearer than that.
To believe in the trinity is to do God Almighty a disservice. It means that he really is not as described at Ps. 83:18 (I didn't quote it :-) )
===========
I'd particular pay attention to Matthew 4 where Jesus underwent temptation by Satan the Devil. One of the things Satan threw at him was that he should bow down to Satan... just once. In exchange he would have all the kingdoms of the world. What did Jesus say? That it is "Jehovah your God you must worship". He didn't say you must worship only US. Or bow down and do an act of worship to ME?

This is a Great question.
One of the ways to explain this is, think of the sun and its characteristics
The Sun = God = The power, the source of it all. Gravitational pull of all things.
The Light = Jesus = The message given here on earth, what mankind sees.
The Heat = Holy Spirit =what we feel
Three in One
The Sun performs three functions but it does not stop being the Sun because of this.
They are one and three at the same time
They each perform different functions as i mentioned before
The Father= The Judge
The Son= The Lawyer
The Spirit = Councilor
To understand this and truly grasp the concept in all its immensity you would have to study, read the bible and learn form lectures and preachings.
But when you come with a Believing heart there is no need to be technical you believe that He Is and will always be.
but in all you have to have a balance to know what is said in the Bible for your betterment and to have faith in what you believe.

There is the Trinity and it's made up of God - the God head, Jesus, the son of God and the Holy Spirit - the spirit of God. God is in all of those and all of those are God. You worship God and Jesus and the only way to do that is through the Holy Spirit. God was first, then he gave himself to the earth through his son Jesus. When Jesus departed the earth He left us the Holy Spirit to guide us. They are separate but they are one. If you don't understand that I suggest you do some studying of the bible and praying and asking for God's Holy Spirit because the bible says that - and I'm paraphrasing here - the carnal can not understand things of the Spirit. God bless.

No, Jesus is not the Father.
Jesus is God, the Father is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. Not three gods, but one God. Not one person, but three persons.
It is interesting to note that in Genesis, "elohim" (translated as "God") is plural, but always takes a singular noun. Also the "shema" (Deuteronomy 6:4, which is called the shema after the first word in verse and is "one of the four passages [the Jews] write on their phylacteries") when speaking of God as "one God" uses the word "ehad", which signifies "a compound unity, one made up of others" (such as in Genesis 2:24, where man and wife will become ONE flesh) rather that "yehad", which represents "unique, a single or only one".

In a manner of speaking, yes all 3 we worship in a sense because they are all worthy of praise. But they are both in submission to God the Father. The trinity means God is 3 in person, 1 in essence.

The answer is simple and is certainly no mystery.
Jehovah God is the Father
Christ Jesus is the Son
The holy spirit is Jehovah's invisible active force or power.
Jehovah and Jesus are not equal in power.
Jesus is called a "mighty god"
Jehovah is "Almighty God"
Jehovah had no beginning
Jesus had a beginning

Brown Skin is right, Jesus is the son of God and Jesus repeatedly said that himself, saying he did nothing of his own accord but that of his Father that sent him.
His Father, even said "This is my son of whom I have approved".
To learn God's personal name go to Psalms 83:18 in the King James Version.
The Trinity doctrine belittles the great sacrifice made on our behalf by both God and His Son.They both suffered, for God had to watch his first son die a horrible death in order to restore us.And Jesus love for us was just as great to be willing to obey his Father, and die for us.
To believe the Trinity you would not be able to accept that Jesus actually died and was resurrected by his Father, and therefore no life was ever really sacrificed. And who was Jesus praying to when he asked that this cup,be removed meaning having to suffer the reproach being brought against his Father's name, yet not his will, but his Father's be done.
They have a very close relationship and it is reprehensible to make light of how obedient Jesus was to his Father, especially when it was for our benefit.

Yes. It is called the Trinity Mistery because it is not possible to understand: the Son is the Father and the Father is the son and both are the Holy Spirit... They are all God. There is no need to understand, but believe. If you want to believe it, of course. besos!
